Celebrating Another Successful Save-a-Smile Event!

The Trident Endo team is delighted to celebrate another successful Save-a-Smile event and eager to extend our sincerest thanks to everyone who supported our efforts.

On May 3, 2022, we kicked off our fourth annual event and are proud to report that we donated a total of $41,111 in professional root canal treatment services to those in need and also saved 25 natural teeth!

 

To date, our Trident Save-a-Smile initiative has contributed more than $165,000 in specialized endodontic treatments in support of our mission, which is to ensure that life-altering dental care is accessible to all, regardless of life circumstances or economic struggle. In order to do this, we rely on the support of other providers, as well as non-profit clinics and community centers.

Everyone Deserves a Healthy Smile

The famous American actress, Connie Stevens, is quoted as saying, “Nothing you wear is more important than your smile.”

Unfortunately, for some, preventive and restorative dental care has not been easy to access and so they are left without the confidence and connection provided by a healthy smile.

That’s why the Trident Endo team is ever grateful to our affiliates, employees, and volunteers that make it possible for us to treat these patients in need. While most attend our event from locations around Maryland, some travel much further, from places like Washington, D.C., and Virginia.

How and Why Did Save-a-Smile Start?

In honor of Trident’s mission to make oral health care more accessible and to create public awareness campaigns, we launched Trident’s Save-a-Smile foundation. As dental professionals, we routinely witness firsthand the need for professional oral health care in struggling communities.

As Trident Endo founder, Dr. Ronald C. Taylor says,

“We’re doing more than just saving teeth; we’re changing lives. Our goal is to give back to the communities that support our practices on an annual basis. It’s the very least we can do as a business.”
