Celebrating Eastern Shore’s Top Dentist Winner Dr. Herring!
The Bay Endo team is delighted to recognize the efforts and endodontic contributions of Dr. Alexis Herring, this year’s Eastern Shore Top Dentist winner.
Such exciting news and accomplishment deserves a celebration, and we are excited to extend an invitation to you to join us at our open house party on Thursday, June 8 from 5:30-7:30 PM.
Attendees will be able to tour the office, enjoy excellent food and summer cocktails, and even try their hand at a fun game or two, all to the tune of upbeat music while surrounded by fun, like-minded people — all of whom are eager to celebrate Dr. Herring and Bay Endo’s accomplishments as the leader in providing endodontic services to the Eastern Shore residents.
Who is Dr. Alexis Herring?
Inspired to pursue dentistry, following a personal experience wearing braces for three years, Dr. Herring originally set out to become an orthodontist. Ultimately — and lucky for us! — she chose to focus on endodontics instead.
Asked what excites her most about her profession, Dr. Herring said, “Dispelling the myths associated with root canal procedures and providing a painless experience for my patients excites me the most. Many patients are fearful due to unpleasant previous experiences and misconceptions. By the end of their visit, they are surprised at how painless the procedure was and leave with a new outlook. It’s so rewarding to provide treatment that makes my patients happy. Root canal therapy saves a tooth from being extracted, which is better in the long run.”
As for the difference patients should expect when they come to Bay Endodontics versus other area endodontists, Dr. Herring explains, “We pride ourselves on providing a patient-focused experience. In many instances, concerns about lack of control and the u unknown cause anxiety and fear. To reduce fear, we educate our patients by thoroughly explaining each step of the procedure. They are then given the opportunity to ask any questions. Before starting the procedure, we confirm through repeated diagnostic testing that they are completely numb. This further resolves any fear and anxiety about the procedure. Our mission is to always put the patient first.”
